Description Tour:

You will visit the Sacred Citadel of Pachacamac. The citadel lies on the outskirts of Lima city, in the Lurin valley. On the route we will go through Barranco and Chorrillos districts. In Chorrillos, you will appreciate the “Pantanos de Villa” (natural reserve). Pachacamac is the most important religious complex on the Peruvian coast. Its beginnings date back to approximately 200 years A.D. Inside the complex, we will visit the “Templo Viejo” (The Old Temple), the “Templo del Sol” (The Temple of the Sun), the “Acllahuasi”, and the “Templo Pintado” (The Painted Temple), among others. We will also visit the site museum where beautiful ceramics, textiles and the image of the Pachacamac idol are exhibited. During the route we will also enjoy the view of the Pacific Ocean.
